Finding time to exercise can be difficult if you have a busy lifestyle, even if you don’t, it can be easy to find an excuse not to exercise. If you are like many other people that find it hard to motivate yourself when it comes to exercising, then you should look to make the process fun, hopefully, before long it can change from being a chore to being part of your daily routine. Here are some things you could try;
- Play frisbee
Frisbee is a fun and simple way to get some exercise with a friend. Count how many times you can throw the frisbee back and forth without dropping it, and then ask them to make you sprint for it to make it more of a workout. It doesn’t matter if you aren’t very good at frisbee throwing either, it could mean that you have to exercise more, especially if you are heavy handed.
- Use the stairs
Taking the stairs rather than an escalator or lift is a terrific way to work the key muscle groups in the legs and glutes. Consider how many times a day you have to go from one floor to another, either on your commute to and from or, at work, you could find yourself stepping up and down the equivalent of a small mountain.
- Put together your very own workout
You could make use of pre-made routines, there are loads that can be found on the internet. Or you could create your own personal schedule with particular exercises, do be sure to change your schedule from day to day, though as your body needs a day or so to recover, even if you use gym supplements you still need to let your muscles recover.
- Go hiking
Getting out and about in the great outdoors is a wonderful way to stretch your legs and see some of the great outdoors and the amazing scenery. If you need some inspiration about where to go, there will likely be social media groups that you could follow, perhaps make some new friends and take part in a group activity once or twice a week.
Do you have any pent-up energy that you’d like to release? Boxercise is an excellent aerobic workout that was inspired by pro-boxer training. Boxercise is a terrific method to get in shape, strengthen your body, and even let off steam without having to play a contact sport.
